Public Administration Program

Pi Alpha Alpha

The University of South Florida Chapter of Pi Alpha Alpha, the National Honor Society of Public Affairs and Administration, is an honor society whose purpose is to encourage and recognize outstanding scholarship and accomplishment in public affairs and administration, to promote the advancement of education and practice in the art and science of public affairs and administration and to foster integrity, professionalism and creative performance in the conduct of government and related public service activities. Membership is limited to those of academic excellence and achievement and/or distinguished public service who are or have been enrolled in or teach in public affairs or public administration programs, or who serve or have served in public service. As of 1998, membership in Pi Alpha Alpha is limited to those who demonstrate integrity and professionalism, and who possess a minimum GPA of 3.70 upon graduation.
